Ash Gimmer

Originally from the USA, Ash moved to Australia 12 years ago with her parents and sister. Having grown up with a variety of different animals, Ash realised early that she would love to work in the Animal Health industry.

Ash began Vet Nursing four years ago and is currently in the process of completing her Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing qualifications. She has a special interest in animal welfare.

Ash lives with her two dogs, Buckley, a Jack Russell cross and Taisun, a Miniature Pinscher. Her hobbies include cycling, jogging and taking her two dogs for walks along the beach.

Her distinct American accent does not go unnoticed!

Paula

Paula is a qualified Veterinary Nurse with many years experience. She started her nursing career at Middle Brighton many years ago and has spent a number of years at a veterinary practice in Prahran where Dr Murray Collings works as a Consultant Surgeon.

Paula has a deep love for animals and her pets have a deep love for her. After the loss of her elderly and beloved dog, George, Paula shares her house with her cat, Snitch and the odd cat-friendly dog for short periods.

Paula works at the clinic on a casual part time basis.

Tracy

Tracy comes from the Loddon Valley in Northern Victoria , and  at a young age realised that animals would always be big part of her life. She started her Veterinary Nursing career in Bendigo at the age of 19, were she stayed for 10 years & gained her Qualifications in a mixed practice seeing both large and small animals, before her move to Melbourne and the Middle Brighton Veterinary Centre where she has been for over 12 months.

Tracy is particularly interested in Animal Conservation for wildlife, endangered species and the protection of their natural habitats and ecosystems. She has also participated in a number of non- profit organisations, in the hope of making a difference and educating others. She plans to work in Zimbabwe and be part of the cheetah reproduction program in 2011 as well as the orangutan orphanage in Bosnia.

Her other loves are her 2 boys Harry (6yr old American Whippet) and Marvin (4yr old Italian Greyhound). Like most dog owners, she loves spending time with her four legged friends - they are a huge part of her family.
